Question by Hybrid Moments: Why does “GoldLine” and other Gold Retailers advertise on conservative talk radio and fox news?
Isn’t the answer obvious?
The fear mongers are getting people panicked that massive inflation is on it’s way and that gold values are going to sky rocket.
Sean Hannity is getting such large checks from his gold advertisers he advocates that all of his listeners diversify with gold.

they know how to make wise use of their advertising dollars and look at the ratings of these shows!!!
if you want to fail in a business venture go ahead and advertise on air america and Cnn!!!

Gold has always been a safe investment during recessions. It has nothing to do with fear. It has to do with economic history.
It’s not that simple…most conservatives are self starters with initiative, most are educated and have made enough money to invest in stocks or gold.
It is the demographic…it wouldn’t make sense to advertise to an audience who invests in sound systems, rims and the only gold they have is on their teeth
They advertise on those because the programs have the higher viewer numbers……….. more bang for their buck.
Yes, the answer is very obvious. A lot of weak minded listeners to these shows don’t know the first thing about investing money and probably haven’t been paying attention to the fact that the value of gold has been declining the last several weeks.
The smart investor bought gold in 2001 when it was $275/ounce. Those investors are now selling their gold making a tidy little profit of about $950/ounce, knowing that the price has pretty much topped out for a while.
The gold people have to keep selling it and the best people left are the uninformed masses of neocon radio/TV.

Gold has been advertised on talk radio for YEARS.
PS. I’ve made an absolute killing in Gold Mining stocks in the last 11 months as Gold went from 835oz to 1220oz – I sold… now it’s retreating.. and I’ll buy back in when it bottoms.

Because conservatives see government going on a spending spree with borrowed money and know what the outcome will be. Liberals on the other hand think that when you are broke the answer is another credit card so they think everything will be fine no matter how much the government spends.
